Winter Cards

I have been making Love/Valentine and other cards for OWH.  I found this beautiful digi stamp from Beccky's Place and knew I had to make a card.  The image is so pretty and I did not do it justice, but maybe the next one will turn out better. I think one reason I fell in love with this stamp, besides being lovely, she reminds me of my two beautiful daughters. It is raining today and looks very wintry; it is a perfect day for card making and there are snowmen waiting for me.
The digi was colored with art pencils and blended with
high quality mineral Spirits and a blending tool.

Digi: Beccky Place, Paper: Colorbok embossed with the
Cuttlebug snow flake folder and cut with the Scallop
Trim is from my mom's stash.
I added Star Dust Stickles to the card for sparkle.
This card will be used as a personal card.

I  colored this one similar to the one Beccky
made. I used Bazzille cardstock and punched
the white cardstock with the Fiskars fan punch.

  1. Beautiful! I love the way you used the image on the card.

  2. Wow, she is gorgeous! Wonderful job with your card and coloring, again wow (:

  3. Beautiful image, Donna; love how you colored and framed it. Lovely!

  4. Mom you need to put the cards you added later on a seperate post or use this one and link to the midweek challenge. They are perfect for it :)

  5. Donna, I have these images also but was afraid I couldn't do them justice so I haven't even tried yet. You did a BEAUTIFUL job with them, all three. Don't sell yourself short. Your background papers are all so gorgeous they just add to the elegance of the cards. Are you going to add a "Follow Me' section to your blog because I'd like to start to follow you so I can view all of your future creations. Thank you for your nice comments on my blog. Have a good evening.

  6. Great card for our Operation Write Home. Challenge, thanks for playing along!

  7. Very nice how you framed her in the scallop cut out and the shimmery frame is perfect with her wintery look in the blue. Very nice card!
