OWH Sketch Challenge # 105

We were under a tornado from the wee hours of the morning until 11 am today. The winds were very strong all night, so it made for a rather sleepless night. We are very blessed that there was no damage except for shingles blown off the roof. My prayers go out to those in Alabama who lost loved ones. Northwest Georgia really dodged what could have been a very damaging storm. I finally got around to making the OWH sketch # 105. I wish my photos looked like the cards actually do. I hope you are in a safe place tonight and out of the path of any storms. Thank you for looking and come back often!

I love this sketch and had to make another one today. After gluing the circle down it dawned on me that I wanted to pop dot it. I do this all the time you and you would think I would learn but no....If you have ever tried to pull up something after using heavy duty glue, it doesn't work out too well. I use to have a product called Undo but haven't seen it in the craft stores lately. I need it with all the mistakes I make. Undo works great for removing any glue without damaging your paper or photo.

  2. Fabulous card. I lovethat die. Thank goodness you are all right. Shingles can be replaced.

  3. This is very pretty - glad you are safe after the storm! How scary!

  4. Love, love, love your bicycle card! Stamp or die cut?

  5. The bike was a brilliant solution for the sketch challenge. Beautiful cards! Glad you are safe and sound after the storms!

  6. Great cards, Donna! I love that umbrella die cut! Thanks for joining us in this week's OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge!

  7. Both of these cards are so different from each other but I love how you put them each together.

  8. Hi Donna, so glad you didn't suffer major damage from the weather! That must have been an anxious night, yet you managed to make these lovely cards! I've never seen that bicycle die; what a neat way to use the sketch! Take care.

  9. Your cards are both wonderful, and I just love that vintage (or antique) bicycle! Stay safe in that wicked weather!
